This panel brings together professionals with firsthand experience navigating African job markets to explore one of the continent's most pressing tensions.

Panellists will share their own journeys before opening the floor to a broader group dialogue, guided by prompts designed to spark honest conversation about the root causes of brain drain, the structural barriers to employment on the continent..

Panelists:

Yewande Jinadu is the Founder of CareerLife Global, a social enterprise that has helped over 1,500 Nigerians secure decent jobs. A senior HR professional with over 10 years of experience, she is an ICF credentialed Career and Leadership Coach, and the author of The All Inclusive Career Handbook.

Olubukola Miriam Agemo is a government affairs professional and trade advocate. She is the youngest-ever Director at the Badagry Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, and a national consultant on trade facilitation at the International Trade Centre. Kelvin Okeyo - CISA, CISM, is a Senior Manager at BDO UK and a seasoned technology risk, governance, and cybersecurity leader with over 15 years' experience across Europe, the UK, and Africa. Kwame Osei Owusu is a Clinical Pharmacist at NHS England and Mental Health Advocate. Suzan Yumbe is the Founder and Executive Director of Afyaplus, established in 2017 to advance community health in Tanzania through water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), reaching over 260,000 children and community members.
