Goodenough Choir FAQs

When and where are rehearsals? Rehearsals are Monday nights, 7:30-9pm in the Large Common Room in London House. Please note that sometimes the college will have to move our rehearsal due to room bookings for external events. You will be notified of the change as soon as it happens. To see a full rehearsal schedule for the year, please go to the bottom of this email.

Do I need experience? Nope - none at all! Just come sing with us.

How many rehearsals do I need to attend? You are encouraged to attend as many rehearsals before a performance as possible, however, you must attend the last 4 rehearsals before a performance to be included in the event. You are free to come to rehearsals at any time during the year and when it suits you, but please do attend the necessary rehearsals for a performance that you would like to be involved with.

What's are your Covid-19 protocols?: The choir rehearses in an open room with as much recommended space between individuals as the room allows. You are welcome to wear a mask during rehearsals, however, please note, given the nature of choral singing, most people find this immensely uncomfortable, so we will not be mandating masks during rehearsals. If you feel unwell for any reason, or you have had contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, please do not come to choir in person . You can still attend our streamed session though on Zoom:  ID: 918 4795 9205 Pass: 968613. As you I am your conductor, I will be doing a rapid flow test before each rehearsal, and I encourage you to do the same. What are we performing and when? Below is a list of rehearsal dates, breaks and performances for 2021/22. Please be aware that these are subject to change depending on College room requirements/event date changes. You will be notified as these changes occur.
