Important Task for all Club and Society organisers!
We require each Club and Society to complete a Club and Society Risk Assessment Form to cover the core activities which you plan to carry out during the course of the year.
The purpose of this task is to help you think about what might cause harm to people and decide whether you are taking reasonable steps to prevent that harm. This can be as simple as assessing a Seminar Room for slip, trip and fall hazards through to complex excursions abroad where risks may be much greater.
Please submit this by hand or electronically to Lucinda Stock lucinda.stock@goodenough.ac.uk before your next funding round.
Any activity not included in the Annual Risk Assessment Form must be registered separately and risk assessed by the completion of an additional form, which you will have to complete for any one-off events, trips or tours throughout the year. This form will cover any activities that are not in your constitution or that you didn’t plan to do at the start of the year and must be submitted to the Dean at least 2 weeks prior to any activities taking place.
Electronic Forms are available to download on the Square, here: https://square.goodenough.ac.uk/resources/events/e-Clubs-and-Societies-Risk-Assesment-Document/
PLEASE NOTE: All Clubs and Societies are required to Risk Assess their activities. If you do not SUBMIT a Risk Assessment you will not be eligible for funding!
If you need some help, please just ask!
