Topics to be discussed and debated include:

• Could Capitalism be replaced by a new economic system characterized with social ownership?

• How can we apply Marxist historical, social, and economic insights to realize gender and racial equality, 
  spur technological innovations, achieve sustainable economic prosperity, and end poverty and global inequality?

• The history and the current situation of employee ownership.

• The mechanism design for collective and common ownership.

• How could social ownership increase individual autonomy and enable productivity growth to decrease the number of working hours for everyone?

The fruits of the discussion and debates could be organized into research proposals according to which further literature reading and data analysis can be applied.
