The Archive holds documents, in-house publications and photos, and assists members in learning more about the unique history of the College
Thank you for visiting the Archive page!
The Archive is located in the attic in William Goodenough House.

The current College Archivist is Luis Lopez
The Archive holds administrative documents, in-house publications, old photographs and some architectural plans.
1. Archive catalogue part 1 – for records from the earliest days to the 2000s (available only in paper and as a PDF file)
2. Archive catalogue part 2 – for records catalogued from 2015 onwards (an Excel file)
3. Archive catalogue for special collections (an Excel file)
The Archivist is currently adding unlisted records to the catalogue.
Besides, the former Archivist, Isobel Harcourt, started a digitization project, in which old photographs and in-house publications were to be digitized because these two sub-collections have been identified as being of most immediate interest to the present College community. We have made steady progress on the project.
Hopefully, the Archive catalogue and some of the digitized materials will be available on the Square by the end of this academic year.
The Archive has mainly served the staff of the College including the Alumni and Development Office and the Registrar.
However, the Archivist accepts enquiries from members and alumni. If you have any questions as to the history of the College, past events etc., please contact the Archive!
The Archivist works part-time and does not hold specific office hours, but you can reach her via email or Facebook (please see the addresses below).
She aims to reply to all emails and messages within 7 days.
Unfortunately, the archive space is not an ideal place for a regular tour. The attic is not spacious enough to accommodate a large number of people, and there are some hazards. But the Archivist is happy to offer a tour for a small number of people (less than 5)!
Please feel free to contact the Archivist via email or Facebook to book a tour.
The Archivist hopes the Archive would be useful for your studies and/or your communal activities in the College.
